Event: Making Money Count
Date: October 17, 2017

The C2FM is offering Making Money Count for all clergy and their spouses.  Research shows that finances are a major cause of stress in people’s personal lives.  Finances do not have to be stressful, this workshop is an opportunity to learn financial management skills and minister to people searching for ways to improve this part of their lives.

The following topics will be covered:
   •   Making Decisions and Communicating about Money
   •   Goals and Spending Plans
   •   Credit
   •   Taxes and Record Keeping
   •   Insurance
   •   Retirement and Investing

This workshop is delivered online so you don’t have to leave your office to participate.  There are seven, 1½ hour sessions every Tuesday and Thursday beginning on Tuesday, October 17th, each session will run from 2:00 to 3:30.

Making Money Count is a program developed and delivered by the University of Missouri Extension.  Each session will be presented by an expert on that day’s topic.

In addition, participants can schedule three hours of confidential one-on-one counseling with a financial coach.  Click here to register or e-mail Chris Bouchard at cbouchard@mumf.org.  Spouses are encouraged to attend.

Luke 12: 28-30 tells us that plans enable us to successfully accomplish our work, and Matthew 23: 14-30, God will reward those who make the most of that which He entrusts in our care.
