Stewardship is at the heart of the Gospel.  Jesus’ teachings are filled with stories about giving, receiving, gratitude expressed, love demonstrated, our relationship to God and our relationship with the things of this world.  The Biblical and Wesleyan teachings about the management of personal resources are central to our journey in Christian discipleship. 

The church’s stewardship ministry is not simply a means to underwrite the budget, it is an essential part of the educational, practical and spiritual life of the congregation.  If we are to truly grow in discipleship, faith and service, we must learn, practice and teach effective stewardship.
