October is Pastor Appreciation Month!

The Foundation’s C2FM program loves to help folks celebrate pastors!

C2FM (the Clergy & Church Financial Ministry) invites you to celebrate a special pastor (in honor or memory) with a financial gift to C2FM. This is a chance to make a meaningful gift in honor or in memory of a pastor, mentor, or clergy colleague whose ministry has been, or is still today, a blessing in your life.

Why C2FM?

A word we hear a lot is “transformation.” C2FM is a transforming influence in the lives of our clergy and their families.

Clergy are called to lead and to serve in support of the rest of us – as if they are not impacted by life’s challenges. C2FM is a safe harbor and a resource. So far, more than 250 C2FM grants totaling over $1.25 million have assisted clergy families to pay off or reduce student loan, consumer, and housing debt, funded scholarships and continuing education goals, assisted with medical expenses and professional services, contributed to retirement accounts, funded renewal leave, and more. All grants are accompanied by personal and confidential coaching and educational enrichment.

Rev. Steve George recently shared his C2FM story:

“A few years ago, I swallowed my pride and asked C2FM for help in getting my finances under control. Receiving a grant to help pay off my seminary loan was a game-changer, and the financial coaching really made the lasting difference, because we continue to be debt free! My spouse, Tiffany, and I were so thankful that we decided to give back to C2FM to pay-it-forward so that other clergy would be able to get the help they need. Over the next year, we gave a monthly gift to C2FM, giving the same amount we had been sending to make student loan payments. Believe me when I say, this ministry for pastors can change your life.”

Your gift in support of C2FM is a meaningful way to say you care about the life-changing impact of pastoral ministry. Your special gift in honor/memory of a pastor will be acknowledged by the Foundation to the pastor, or the pastor’s family.
