The Missouri United Methodist Foundation is excited to welcome Austin View as our Accounting & Finance Associate!
Austin is joining our Financing and Accounting team, working on distributions, accounting duties, and managing the Foundation database.
Austin is originally from a small town just outside of Columbia called Harrisburg. Before joining our team, he served as the Executive Director for Show-Me Central Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit that works with low-income families to make homeownership possible.
Outside of work, Austin and his wife enjoy DIY projects; however, they haven’t had much time for them lately. They’re currently focused on two long-term DIYs named Theodore and Christian – ages 3 and 5 months.
“In my previous role I was pulled in many different directions. I’m excited to now focus on what I enjoy most: finance and accounting. As my wife likes to say, ‘If you see Austin on his phone, he’s most likely calculating something.’ I feel incredibly fortunate to work for another nonprofit whose mission closely aligns with my personal values. I’m excited to continue serving the community through the Missouri United Methodist Foundation.”
