The Dakota Wesleyan University Practical Church Leadership (DWU-PCL) program is an innovative, one-year certificate program created by Dakota Wesleyan University specifically for active pastors.
The Missouri United Methodist Foundation through its C2FM office is now accepting applications for Cohort #7 beginning in July 2026. Since 2020, C2FM has covered full tuition and travel expenses for 32 Missouri pastors participating in the DWU-PCL certificate program.

PCL is a 21-graduate credit hour, online, certificate program for working ministry leaders that builds acumen in financial development, governance, talent management, project management and communications. There are two in-person gatherings during the 12-month program, and each student is assigned a professional coach who walks with the pastor as she/he develops and implements a major applied project at the pastor’s church.
There is limited space in the July 2026 Cohort. Those who are interested in applying for this full-ride scholarship opportunity are invited to contact Chris Bouchard, interim director of Clergy and Financial Ministry (C2FM), to obtain an application form, or click the button below. This year’s application deadline is March 27, 2026.
