C2FM

C2fm 2024

The Clergy & Church Financial Ministry (C2FM) was established to improve financial literacy, leadership, discipleship, and ministry in our clergy and congregations.

The mission of the Missouri United Methodist Foundation’s Clergy and Church Financial Ministry (C2FM) is to continuously improve clergy and congregational excellence around financial literacy, leadership, discipleship and ministry.

The vision of the C2FM is to eliminate financial management barriers (personal and professional) among clergy and laity so they may more effectively lead congregations to increased health, vitality, and ministry effectiveness. Learn more about C2FM.

Our Pastors say it best: “C2FM has been a blessing to my family, providing much needed financial support in times of unexpected hardship & challenge. When sudden, significant medical costs caused our family stress & we were unsure what the future would hold – the support of the Missouri United Methodist Foundation and C2FM helped alleviate the emotional, mental & financial stress as well as reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to me and our conference pastors. Thank you!

The grief of the tragic loss was devastating for her and her two teenage daughters. They took time to grieve and engage in therapy, and there wasn’t anything that could have been done to prepare for the emotional impact. But beyond the emotions at the time of death, there is another challenge: Those left behind must struggle with logistics.

Ministry Grants

“A small congregation can make a big impact to families and community.”

Once again, in 2024, the Foundation funded a wide array of Ministry Grant proposals. The Foundation board looks for proposals that have a clear plan, meaningful measures of success, and strong connections to mission and positive ministry impact. Since 2001, the Foundation has awarded over $4.4 million in ministry grants.
